The room was spacious and clean, perfect for our romantic escape. We also enjoyed the comfortable bed and the good quality of the linens. The location was ideal as it was close to restaurants and shops, and there was easy access to public transportation.
We had a less-than-perfect experience due to the unpleasant smell in the room. We also encountered some noise disturbances from other guests during the evening.

We were 3 people staying in a big suite with 2 beds. The hotel crew didnt force us to pay for an extra bed and it wasnt really necessary since there was a big coach located in the living room and additional bedding in the wardrobe. We also didnt have to pay extra for the third breakfast so budget-wise this hotel was a really good deal for us. The rooms and the bathroom were pretty clean. The location isn't perfect, but not really bad too, it takes around 15 minutes by foot to reach the main shopping promenade (Zhongshan St.) and a nightmarket (near Walmart). On the other hand, the hotel is only a few steps away from a botanical garden and the cable car that goes to Nanputuo Temple.
The building is really old and you can feel it, especially when you look at their corridors or dirty windows. Their breakfast, as mentioned by others, is really bad and at 9 am everything's already cold.

The hotel offered a free shuttle service to the downtown area, which was very convenient for us. the breakfast buffet was quite varied and offered both Western and Chinese dishes. the staff was generally friendly and accommodating.
Our new year's stay was ruined by a loud party in the room next door that kept us up until the early hours of the morning. We tried calling the front desk to complain, but nobody answered.
